2pm - 6pm: Check-in, welcome drinks, and socialising by the pool
7pm - late: Welcome dinner
Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday (16th - 20th May 2025)
Each full day looks like this:
7:00am - 9:00am: Breakfast
8:15am - 9:00am: Yoga or relaxation
10:00am - 11:30am: Immersive workshop 1
11:30am - 12:00pm: Morning tea
12:00pm - 1:30pm: Immersive workshop 2
1:30pm - 2:30pm: Lunch
3:00pm - 4:30pm: Guided practice
6:00pm - 8:00pm: Dinner
8:00pm till late: Milonga
Details
Yoga
Yoga classes will be run by local yoga instructors to stretch you, warm up your muscles, and give you a great start to your day.
While optional it's highly recommended, even for those of you who've never practiced yoga before.
Workshops
Our workshops deliver progressive content, evolving it as necessary as the retreat unfolds.
We're taking care to ensure all attendees have mastered Tango fundamentals. It's not an event for beginners, will be challenging but doable for those who are comfortable with fundamentals, and beneficial for even the most advanced dancers as small-group classes deliver much greater attention and feedback from our teachers.
Afternoon Social Dancing, Guided Practice
Each afternoon we facilitate social dancing and guided practice to allow you to integrate what you've learnt through practice with other attendees, under the guidance of an instructor.
Giving your mind time to rest and forget over lunch creates the perfect first moment to attempt to recall what you've learnt, and commit it to longer-term memory.
